Introducing Chablon: A Simple Training Caller for Footwork Practice

I’ve been working on a new app called Chablon, built to support focused footwork and movement training.

Chablon is a caller app that gives you timed cues while you train. It can display visual prompts on a grid, speak calls out loud, and let you choose between random or sequential call patterns. You can also adjust the timing interval, making it useful for slower technical practice or faster reaction-based drills.

The idea is simple: instead of stopping to think about what movement comes next, Chablon keeps the calls coming so you can stay in rhythm, react, and focus on clean movement.

This app was inspired by the training I’ve been doing through Movimentica. That practice has helped shape how I think about movement, coordination, timing, and footwork, and Chablon grew out of wanting a small tool to support that kind of work.

Whether you’re drilling foot placement, practicing agility, or building better coordination, Chablon is designed to be lightweight, direct, and easy to use during a session.

I’m excited to share it and keep improving it as the training evolves.
